Does it really snow in Georgia??

Yes, it really snowed here. I couldn't believe it!! For the past 6 1/2 years I have lived in Georgia it has only snowed twice now. For a quick second I felt like I was living in Montana again. Davis wasn't too sure about the whole snow thing he wouldn't even go outside on his own. But then for the next couple of days he would point to the window and say "no" his way of saying "snow".



I think that Nick enjoyed the snow out of all if us! But he doesn't believe in wearing a coat so he didn't last that long being in the snow! We couldn't help but play in the snow for a little bit.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom- we just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. I know that you are not feeling to good but we hope that you are getting better and maybe this will help shake your sickness. We wish that we were there to celebrate your birthday with you. We love you and miss you so much! You are such a wonderful mom and have always been an amazing example to me growing up. I am thankful that Davis has a grandma like you! You will be such a blessing to my kids as you have been for me. We send our love to you from Georgia......

Here we are!!

So, I thought that I would start a blog of our family. There are so many people to try to keep in touch with and it seems nearly impossible to do! And I really make myself feel bad for not doing a better job at it. So, I figure this is the best way people can see what we are up to (not that are lives are that exciting). Besides I have enjoyed reading my friend's blogs as well....

I can't believe that we have been up here in Atlanta for a year now...how time flys! But with just a few adjustments we are really enjoying our new lives up here and I would imagine we will be here for awhile. Nick is enjoying and learning his job quickly he has a great schedule and is home relatively early everyday, which I LOVE!!!

For the most part we are just trying to live life to the fullest. Davis is defintely the best part of our lives and keeps us going everyday. As you can imagine never a boring moment with a 1 1/2 year old. We love watching the things he discovers and learns and everyday is a new day with Davis. It is simply amazing the things that you can learn by watching your kids.
