No place like home!!!
Anyway, I fly into Milan and then have a driver waiting for me to take me into a city called Bergamo. A medievel town in Northern Italy. I probably walked around for 4 hours or so and took pictures and videos and stuff and honestly, felt lonely. Everyone else out there was walking around holding hands and I was by myself! Not a fun way to travel. The biggest dissapointment actually was the food. It was ok but not what I expected. I was thinking I would be closing my eyes and making sounds and everything after each bite. It didnt happen. After Sunday I headed to our office which was in a much smaller town and from then on out I hung out at work till fairly late and then had time to grab something to eat and then get back to the hotel. I actually took benadryl each night to make sure I could get a decent amount of sleep. It worked pretty well. In the end, the best thing I ate was calamari from the hotel restaurant.
Germany was a much better place to travel. I flew into Frankfurt Wed. night and then took the autobahn to a town called Budingen. It was pretty cool seeing all these cars flying by us going much faster than 100mph. The taxi was probably cruising around 80 - 90. I get to my hotel pretty late and order some schnitzel. It was delicious! After that I take my benadryl and get to bed. Spent the next day at work and then they took me out to another place that was recommended. Again, the food was delicious, I ordered pork filet. Couldn't have been happier with it. The next day there was no need for me to go into the office so I take off to Frankfurt for the day. This was the most I really wished Jess was with me. She would've loved it! The sites and the stores were pretty impresive. I ended up buying a few little decorations from the house and just wasted the rest of the time walking around. I ended up by the red light district before turning around.
Overall the trip was ok. I still would choose the good ole' US of A to live over any other place! It's just the perfect place to live!!!! Plus everyone isn't trying to get me drink beer or wine and when I don't people don't laugh and make fun of me! I swear, I've never had people try to preasure me so much into drinking before in my life!!

Not Again!!!
I came home yesterday from church expecting to walk into a house filled with yummy aroma smells of a roast cooking in the crock pot. Just thinking about it while we were driving home from church was making my stomach rumble and my mouth water, I was so excited to dive into some FOOD!!! Those of you that are around me know that I LOVE and CARE for food only when I am pregnant. I am not the passionate about it otherwise! When I walked into the house I didn't smell anything that I was hoping for just the trash that was starting to have a little stench. Disappointed, I walked over to the crock pot and lifted the top off and noticed the top of the meat was still RAW!!! Then I poked the meat and noticed the whole thing was still RAW!! I look down at the crock pot and of course I turned it on I followed the trace of the cord and I took a gasp of air and covered my face wanting to seriously CRY!!! I forgot to plug in the crock pot...is there seriously an end to this madness?? How am I suppose to survive this when it is even affecting my eating abilities...seriously? Talk about such a let down when you go from a mouth watering roast to a quick batch of spaghetti!!! I am a lost cause and I am going to just wallow in my miserable misery....

So how many brain cells do you really lose when you are pregnant?
So, as you can imagine where this is leading to we are locked out of the house. Angie pulls out a credit card and attempts to try to break into the house soon we realize there is no way you can break into the front door using a credit card. We walk around to the side door that leads into the garage of course everything is dead bolted so it is impossible to break in. Continue to the back yard...yep no way getting in through the back door either and the windows are the same and there is no way you can open them from the outside. We keep thinking and talking about if there is only a way that we can get into the garage then we know that we could break in using a credit card through the door that leads into the house from the garage.
Angie has her purse with her and her phone so we try to call Nick...no answer, we try to call John....no answer! So, then I run over to the neighbors to see if they can help us. Their cars are parked in the driveway but no one is answering the door. I walk back to the house Angie calls her dad to ask what we should do. Do we try to break a window or call a locksmith? Not before to long Angie is on the phone with the locksmith, which I won't even tell you what they quoted us.... then I see my neighbors coming out of their house so I run over there tell them what happened and they come over try to use the credit card on the front door again after we just spent a half an hour attempting it ourselves, of course it doesn't open. Then they ask the simple question "Don't you have a garage opener". Can we say D-U-H??? This whole time Angie and I were trying to break in through the front door but also knowing that if somehow we could just get into the garage then we could break into the house through the door the leads into the house.
Here were our scenarios just so you know how two pregnant chics think when they are locked out of the house. Here we are thinking maybe we should break a window on the side door of the garage and reach in and unlock the door and then we could break into the house from the door on the inside that leads into the house, but of course it would be risky because what if we broke a window and then still couldn't break into the house. Or is there somehow we can use our burley muscles and pregnant strength and push the garage door open. Or can we remove one of the windows that are on the outside of the garage door and somehow squeeze our 6 months belly's into a little hole to get into the garage?? These are all of the options that we came up with. I am a little embarrassed to say that having a garage opener wasn't even one of them so I guess Angie and I are just witnesses and are proof to how you have absolutely no brain cells when you are pregnant!!

Butt Prayer!!
Just to let you know that I never crawled up Nick like a leopard or however he described it and I wasn't clawing him and I never wore that short of shorts....I think this is all in his crazy made up fantasy!! If you don't know what I am talking about read the previous post!!!
Okay on to business..... I know that some of you already know this story but it is the best ammunition that I got against Nick, so just bear with me!! I mean I am pulling out the big guns here so if you want a good laugh keep reading.
For those of you that don't know Nick very well just know that he is always got something tricky and sneaky up his sleeves at ALL times and this is just ONE thing that he has done to me!!!!
So picture this....one night Nick and I were saying our prayers before bed, we always kneel on the bed to pray, it was my turn to pray. The lights are out and it is dark and as I am saying this prayer I notice that Nick is sort of squirming around on his side of the bed, but it is not enough to effect my long heart-warmth prayer, I just thought maybe he got hit with diarrhea or something. Okay, really I am saying this very wonderful long prayer, I am relishing in the spirit, my voice is getting a little shaky and by the time I finish the prayer I even have a tear coming down my face!! At the end of our prayers when we say Amen, Nick and I always seal it with a kiss, we have done this since day one of our marriage. So, as I ended the prayer I leaned over to give Nick a kiss, expecting to get a kiss and then listen to Nick tell me how I am this spiritual giant!! But, what I got was nothing near that...yeah...the man that I married decided to pull his underwear down during my wonderful heart warming prayer and put his butt close to my face so when I leaned over to kiss what were suppose to be his lips, yep.... I got butt instead!!! Now, I never actually kissed his butt but it was close enough!!! Now in Nick's defense, because I am that nice of a person, he did say that during the prayer because it was so moving that he almost backed out of his deceitful cleverness, if that is what you want to call it!!
But, as you can see he didn't....
So, there you have it folks the hidden treasured butt prayer story. After this some of you may look at Nick in a different light or maybe some are thinking that I must have been furious but really in our marriage it is all fun and games until someone kisses someones butt, which luckily for Nick it never happened!

First Kiss
This really is an interesting story. It all started on one of our half days while working out in West Yellowstone, MT. We decided to hang out that day, go to the lake, get some sun, etc. Well, being the good mormon boy that I have always been, I couldn't help but be caught off guard a bit when she picked me up wearing some super short shorts. I wasn't used to that sort of thing. I'm not saying those legs weren't nice to look at, I just wasn't used to hanging out with a girl who was willing to show that much leg!! Anyway, we head over to the local sandwich shop, got a sandwich and a giant cookie, then we took her back to her place to get changed and then headed into work. All night long she couldn't take her eyes off of me. It wasn't one of those innocent looks either. It was one of those looks that made me feel like I was doing something wrong by just having someone look at me that way. I knew right then I was in trouble!
one of those looks....
So the rest of the night goes by, we clean up, and since I brought her into work I got to take her home. The drive is short so it didn't take long to get to her neighborhood. I look over at her and I notice that look again that I mentioned earlier. At this point my mind went blank but I knew I wanted to avoid any akward silence so I said the first thing that came to my mind, "you ever have any buffaloes make it back into your neighborhood". She gave me a confused look and said, "yeah?". By the time she answered the question we were in her driveway and she asked if I wanted to watch "tv". Honestly, I wasn't sure what would happen if I said yes but I said yes anyway. It didn't take long before she was playing with my hand. Not much longer after that she asks me if I want to stretch out on the couch. Again, for some reason I say yes. And then not much later than that, I have this wild animal crawling up my chest with her dainty paws clawing at me making her way to give me a kiss. Believe me, it was hard to resist but I did b/c I wasn't sure what she would even think of me the next day. I liked Jess quite a bit by this time and I didn't want to screw it up so I told her, "When I kiss you, I want you to know that I really mean it and that I'm not looking for a summer fling". She ended up just giving me a hug and I felt a bit stupid. Well not much later I had this little leopard clawing her way up my chest again to come try again, this time she made it through my resisting and we ended up making out for 3 hours. Little did she know how much I would enjoy kissing considering that this was my first time doing this ever!! I'm sure she was waiting for me to stop like any experienced guy would do eventually but to be honest I didn't want to. Ever since that, I was addicted to her kisses!!!

Is this sad or what???
We get home from church yesterday Davis falls asleep on the drive home and usually we let him take a fast half an hour nap because by the time we get home it is 5:30 and we are usually waking him up around 6:00 and if we let him sleep any longer than that it is a disaster trying to get him asleep that night!!
Anyway, Nick is trying to wake up Davis shortly after we get home and it just is not happening!! Davis is refusing to wake up and is crying so Nick picks him up and is holding him and Davis falls back asleep! A little while later I look back up at the clock it is 6:45 and I am telling Nick wake him up, again another attempted try and this time Nick sits Davis down in the recliner and he is sitting straight up and falls back asleep that way!! I wish that I got a picture of it, I didn't think about taking a picture at the time!! So, after a few more attempted times to wake up Davis he is just not wanting to wake up. I just tell Nick that to let him sleep and lets just hope that it is not going to be a long night for me!! I could just picture him waking up in the middle of the night and being wide awake and not falling back alseep!!
But, Davis in the end he never woke up and slept all evening long and all night long even after I took off his church clothes, changed his diaper and put pj's on him. Nick brought him something to drink and a banana to eat. Davis woke up long enough to eat the banana and something to drink and when he was finished he went back to bed and told us "night, night". I just hope that this is not some sign that he is getting sick or I was joking last night saying maybe someone in nursery slipped the kids a little benadryl!! This happen to anyone else? Just kidding....... but not really!!
As, we were going to bed last night I turned to Nick and said we have never had a night off and even though Davis was still with us it sort of felt like a night off and I got a little feeling of what it would be like having a night off with just Nick and I again. I have to tell you it felt a little WEIRD not having to chase a 2 year old around!!!! Is that sad or what????
