I have to share a proud "mom" moment. Davis is offically in a "big boy bed" and the best part is, it is not our bed!! He has been sleeping in his new bed for 2 weeks now and I thought the transition would have been a lot harder than it was (knock on wood). We took Davis to Ikea a couple of weeks ago and he started climbing all over this one bed that they had on display it was a bed that was low to the ground and Davis was all about climbing on and off of it and jumping all over it. We tried putting him on other beds but he always wanted to go back to this one bed because he could climb in and out of it. Of course we ended up buying it (not the one that I wanted to get) but Davis loves it!! So, I guess in a way we let him pick out his own bed and it worked out for us in the end. He loves climbing on it and especially jumping on it like the 10 little monkeys jumping on the bed.... which makes me very nervous all of the time because one day he is going to fall and bump his head.

That is the sweetest picture I have seen of Davis-not that he isn't adorable when he's awake, but, anyway, you know what I mean!

Congratulations! The big bed is fantastic, until they realize they can get out of it and come and visit you (multiple times during the night)! What a beautiful picture!
