There are only a couple of things that I usually don't have to convince Nick to buy, mainly electronics, but being more specific you can see from the previous post he loves game systems and the other is exercise equipment!!
Total side note everything else that I buy I have to justify why I buy it, not that Nick makes me, that is just my guilty side coming out. I always come home with a speech prepared to give Nick or if I don't have one I just leave my purchases in the car until Nick looks at the our bank statement online, which is usually every morning. But I love buying things that Nick approves of, it make it so much better :)
Anyway getting back to my point we are not the best at exercising but recently we have both been wanting to trim our excess fat that we have just hanging out on our bodies! Besides in May we are going to go to the beach with our friends John and Angie and this always seems to motivate us knowing that if we don't do something we are going to look like a couple of "beached whales". It is bad enough that we are pasty white, I don't want to look like "white beached whales". So, without convincing Nick too much, he bought us a treadmill that I have been wanting. We turned one side of our garage into our "Home Gym" which also includes our Bowflex, Nick's Power Tower, Bowflex Dumb-bells and our Elliptical machine. Nick created a workout for each of us and we print it out and mark what we have done that day. We have been exercising for about 3 weeks now and I can't really notice any difference with me, actually I have gained weight :( but I feel much better about myself when I workout! I notice a difference with Nick already.....GO NICK!!!! Nick even wired speakers for us in the garage so we can jam out while we work out...it is GREAT!!! I LOVE having a treadmill. Let's just hope that we can keep it up!

hey!!! I just to invite you to take part of the new challenge I've got going over at my weight loss blog. check it out lady!
And dont' forget, we also made a work out playlist using the PS3! So, whenever we work out, we turn the PS3 on, select the playlist, hit play. You can even get it to shuffle the order around. It's great!
Okay, so last night I had a dream that Nick took the treadmill outside and put it on our driveway so he could make room to park his car in the garage again!! He wanted to park it in the garage so, it wouldn't get damaged by the hail again :)
I was so mad at him during my dream that I was saying "what about the treadmill when it hails like it is not going to get damaged"
Crazy...I usually don't remember my dreams but I think I dreamed about it b/c I went to bed right after I posted this last night!!
Couple of thoughts . . .
Awesome home gym, keep up the good workouts!
I was working on a Montana client today and it made me think of Jessie!
What is the deal with Polo? That was so random . . . If I had a horse, I would name him Hildalgo or maybe Black Beauty, but only if he is white.
Omigosh! I just messed up the word verification, for the first time ever. Way to go Bettes family!
That is awesome, good for you guys. The other answer is to have 3 kids so you never get to eat anything by yourself anymore and running around after them makes you beg for night to come quickly! just kidding! I am right there with the rest of us realizing that as Trudy says in Steel Magnolias "Honey time IS marching on and eventually you realize it is marching right across your face!" heehee!
That is awesome! Nice work. I'll sign up for a membership. Long distance...think it'll work? hahahaha
Jessie, I'm sorry, but you have absolutely no excess flab, but kudos for you guys on the treadmill..I have to admit how jealous I am that you have your own. I'll join your gym if it includes child care!!! :)
Nick it is uber cool that you wired it using the PS3!
