Halloween!

So, I think that I have been on a massive sugar buzz the past few days/weeks. I can't help it when candy is around it is so hard for me not to eat it. Well, yesterday I resisted and didn't eat much and this morning I woke up with a pretty major headache. I guess that my headache could be from something else but the only explanation to me is that I am 'jones' for some more sugar!!! I love Halloween and all the candy but can you get a hangover from eating to much of it? Well...we dressed Davis up as a lil' Batman this year. His costume was very cute on him but the cape was way to long on him so he usually didn't wear it but I am so impressed with how long he left on his mask. So, here is what all of the events of the Halloween celebration was like for us.

~Family Party~ Sugar Buzz reason # 1

First, we had the traditional Bettes Family Halloween party at Mimi's and Papa's house. The night of the party it rained and rained and rained. We didn't dress up Davis because it was so yucky outside but this didn't stop the kids from having a wet, fun, good time!! And the events for the night still continued through the rain and all.....

~Trunk or Treat~ Sugar Buzz reason # 2
Second, was our ward trunk or treat party. This is always a lot of fun and even though Davis wasn't enjoying himself that much at the beginning and wanted to be held the majority of the time. But once everyone started breaking out with some dancing Davis lightened up his mood and couldn't stop dancing, I think he gets his moves from Nick!

~Carving Pumpkins ~ Sugar Buzz reason # 3

So, we went over to Nick's sister's house one night and craved pumpkins and ate dinner together. I never realized how much work craving pumpkins were and we only craved one!! I have to give Nick mostly the credit because he did the majority of the work, but I did help out too!! Davis was not interested in the pumpkin craving at all and just wanted to play with Logan's toys instead! Maybe next year......and after the pumpkins were done being carved we sat around and passed around the candy bowl...no kidding!!

Like we even needed any more candy for a 2 year old at this point. But, what the heck. Well, we went trick or treating with the family. The cousins were way to fast for Davis but it was still fun for him. We didn't make it to that many houses before Davis wanted to be carried.
