Go Thrashers!!

Last week Nick got 4 tickets for free to the Atlanta Hockey Game at the Philips Arena in Downtown. So, we thought why not? Could be interesting bringing a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 month old to a hockey game you never know until you try it, right? But it really worked out as good as it could for us. We of course didn't last the whole game and ended up leaving at the end of the 2nd period. Cole slept the whole time and Davis was...well Davis. Luckily the popcorn and drink helped keep him a little calm. He loved watching the game for about 5 minutes at a time and would scream out "Go Thrashers" and then move on to something more exciting to him at the time, like kicking the seat in front of him or turning around and staring at the people that were sitting behind us. The funniest part was Davis being scared to death of the mascot and freaked out when the mascot stopped right by our seats and held out his hand for a high five. After that Davis was on the edge of his seat the whole time thinking that the mascot was going to sneak up on him. It was funny to watch him!!

Gotta try it though, right? Pictures are cute and awesome that Davis slept the whole time! Wahoo.

Sounds like a fun evening, now you have proof that you do fun stuff with your kids so when Davis gets older and says your boring and you never do anything fun, you can show him other wise. Read Jennifer's comment, thought I'd offer my favorite bag... it's a Lands End Baby Diaper Back Pack. It lasted me through 2 kids and now Marcus is using it for Victor. It washes well. It came with a changing pad, dirty diaper or wet clothes bag and a little organizer bag to put wipes and lotions and stuff in. It holds a ton and was really nice. Just my 2 cents.
