Score!!!
I went to Walmart today to pick up a few things. I went to the toy section with Davis and they had part of their toy section ripped apart and they were taking off their power wheel vehicles from display and had them all out in the isles. I overheard the walmart worker telling someone else that they were going to clearance out some of these power wheel vehicles that were on display because they were no longer going to carry them anymore. Anyway, to make a long story short the lady ended up buying 2 of the two seater vehicles, the only 2 that they had that were on display, so I figured that they were selling for a great deal so I was trying to hang around until she left. After she left I put Davis down and he immediately went to a F-150 truck and started climbing in it. It is not a 2 seater though but I asked the guy working what they were selling it for and the guy told me $50 bucks and I looked at the price tag and it was selling for $170 dollars and I said really "$50 bucks". I asked him what the lady bought the 2 seaters for and he said $100 bucks. So, anyway after letting Davis play in it for a little bit they loaded it up for me and I bought it!!
We are not giving it to Davis yet just because he got so many toys for his birthday and he really doesn't need another toy so we are hiding it in the garage until Christmas. Luckily, Davis feel asleep on the drive home and when he woke up he didn't remember anything about the truck. But, I am so excited because what a great deal that I scored!! I am also excited because my goal this year was to start shopping early for Christmas, especially with a baby coming around this time. Yay for me!! I tell you sometimes I HATE Walmart but other times I LOVE it!!!
Also, Nick is thrilled because at least someone in our family will be driving an F-150 Ford Truck!!

Ohhh....Butt!!!
On a positive note Davis's trampoline came in yesterday. It took Nick all night to put the thing together and once Davis figured out what it was we had a very impatient 2 year old on our hands. He was crying non-stop because he wanted to get on it and jump on it even though Nick wasn't finished putting it together yet. I had to bring Davis in the house and try to distract him with something else while Nick was finishing up.....yeah, I was real successful with that!!! By the time Nick finished the trampoline it was dark outside and we turned our flood lights on outside and let Davis jump until his little heart was content. And this morning Davis remembered the trampoline and wanted to go outside immediately so since he really didn't get to jump on it that long last night I let him go out this morning before his breakfast and in his pj's and jump!!! I just wonder how long Davis will get tired of jumping on it by himself. Hopefully, he won't get tired of it for awhile.....

Cleaning Fiasco!!
So, I started this cleaning fiasco with my house this week and haven't been able to STOP and I think that it is causing me to go CRAZY!!! Even though I don't think that I am far from going crazy anyway. But cleaning is even coming up in my dreams I just can't seem to relax even while I sleep. I am not sure if it is because the whole family will be up on Saturday or if it is due to the fact that when I am pregnant I am a little emotionally unstable, I haven't been able to figure out which one it is.
I have scrubbed my kitchen from top to bottom, cabinets, doors, fridge, baseboards and even tore down the blinds and not only dusted them but wiped them clean. I reorganized our bookshelves in the office along with Davis's madness of toys everywhere, which I was very close to throwing half of them away. I again cleaned the windows on the inside as well as the outside throughout the entire house and dusted and cleaned every blind in our house. I reorganized my master bedroom closet and along with the coat closet that is downstairs. I made Nick help me start cleaning out the nursery which was a job in itself. Nick pitched in and did tons of yard work today which included mowing, edging, trimming, blowing the leaves and raking them up. I also asked Nick to organize the garage a little because it was driving me nuts. I have been doing laundry for what it feels like forever because I am washing everything I think needs washed beside the norm of just clothes, random blankets, pillows...etc.
Anyway, I am hoping that there is an end to this madness because I really don't want to be cleaning in my dreams anymore!!!

2 GREAT dates!!
What a day!! Two significant dates in one day for our family. It is our 6 year anniversary today as well as Davis's 2nd birthday. We were suppose to celebrate our anniversary yesterday but Nick is sick so I guess we will get around to celebrating it one day. We are celebrating Davis's birthday next Saturday so I will do a post then for his birthday. Maybe the weekend after next we will celebrate our anniversary.
It is hard to believe that Nick and I have been married for 6 years and been together for a little over 7 years. It all began in the wonderful state of Montana and how blessed I am that Erik Witbeck told Nick about coming out to West Yellowstone to work for the summer. So...thanks Erik!! I meet Nick shortly after moving back for the summer and little did I know that I would meet my husband that summer and my whole life would take a 180 degree turn. We went and took a day trip and hung out in Bozeman one day and Nick and Erik were looking for hiking boots. We went into a shoe store and Nick was acting like an annoying salesmen trying to sell me a pair of hiking boots....sounds just like Nick, huh? I was amazed at how funny Nick was and I couldn't stop laughing. So, of course I had to play a part as well and I started playing the part of a really mean and difficult costumer with Nick being an annoying salesmen......crazy young kids!! We haven't changed a bit. After that trip I knew that Nick was a type of guy that I was attracted to. To me he was perfect!! Also, Nick and I are both very competitive and I beat him in a game of basketball which was awesome and it made me like him even more!!! Some say it was just a summer fling but Nick and I both felt stronger feelings towards each other and knew it was more and that is how it all began.....
After being engaged for a loooonnnggg year. Our eternal family began on August 10th, 2002 at 10:00 am in the Atlanta Temple where we were sealed. I am sooo blessed to have Nick in my life. I love him very much. I never imagined ever being loved the way he loves me, and before I met him, I never knew I could love someone so much. When you get married you think of life and the love that you share as a fairy tale and little do you know. You don't realize the ups and downs you will face in life. But I am thankful for the experiences that Nick and I have faced together because I feel like through those we have grown even stronger together in our marriage. When you go through hard times together it helps you to remember how great the good times are!! I am very blessed to have such an amazing husband. He has given me so much in life and I am thankful that I am on this journey with him. We now have a son together and a baby on the way. If you ask me life can't get much better than this.
I love you Nick Bettes FOREVER!!!
