Score!!!

I went to Walmart today to pick up a few things. I went to the toy section with Davis and they had part of their toy section ripped apart and they were taking off their power wheel vehicles from display and had them all out in the isles. I overheard the walmart worker telling someone else that they were going to clearance out some of these power wheel vehicles that were on display because they were no longer going to carry them anymore. Anyway, to make a long story short the lady ended up buying 2 of the two seater vehicles, the only 2 that they had that were on display, so I figured that they were selling for a great deal so I was trying to hang around until she left. After she left I put Davis down and he immediately went to a F-150 truck and started climbing in it. It is not a 2 seater though but I asked the guy working what they were selling it for and the guy told me $50 bucks and I looked at the price tag and it was selling for $170 dollars and I said really "$50 bucks". I asked him what the lady bought the 2 seaters for and he said $100 bucks. So, anyway after letting Davis play in it for a little bit they loaded it up for me and I bought it!!

We are not giving it to Davis yet just because he got so many toys for his birthday and he really doesn't need another toy so we are hiding it in the garage until Christmas. Luckily, Davis feel asleep on the drive home and when he woke up he didn't remember anything about the truck. But, I am so excited because what a great deal that I scored!! I am also excited because my goal this year was to start shopping early for Christmas, especially with a baby coming around this time. Yay for me!! I tell you sometimes I HATE Walmart but other times I LOVE it!!!

Also, Nick is thrilled because at least someone in our family will be driving an F-150 Ford Truck!!

Go Jessie... I'm not even thinking about Christmas yet...
I'm too tired. I should be writing lesson plans right now...
But, really who wants to do that.

That is awesome...I love the fact that they can forget the loot so easily; it is the only way I can shop for things with my kids around. Unfortunately I think Leah is losing that "forgetful magic"...sigh. Meaning that I have to shop without her for the most part now.

Great deal though. My kids would LOVE those things.

Boys and their trucks... Miland always seems to throw a comment in about not having a truck! Poor baby! Cool deal though. I try to do my Christmas shopping early also, it makes the holidays so much nicer and less stressful!
